Hello! My full name is Rakesh Kumar, but people affectionately call me Aarvi, and I'm known as @rakesh_aarvi on Instagram. I recently graduated in April 2024 with a degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING from Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. During my time there, I was the coding club head of DCA @dca.ait. Although I have just completed my degree, I have been learning to code for over six years. Through my experience in software development, I've had the opportunity to work with senior developers, talented teams, and innovative startups, all of which have shaped my skillset and set high standards for what is expected of any software developer. I love to code things from scratch and enjoy bringing new ideas to life. I always prioritize keeping my code clean, maintainable, and easy to understand. I am currently working as a full stack developer at Scidecs Pvt Ltd. Check out my projects below.

From January 2021 to January 2022, I was a UX/UI Designer with the Developer's Club of Acharya, a student-driven coding club at Acharya Institute of Technology. The club is entirely managed and operated by students.

This journey was truly epic for me, transitioning from a UX/UI Designer to the Club Head of the Developer's Club of Acharya (DCA). I led the club as its President.

I successfully orchestrated the Acharya Habba college fest at Acharya College, Bangalore, Karnataka, handling over 20,000 students. HABBA stands as one of the largest college cultural events in Bangalore. Serving as both Organizer and Technical Head, these experiences were profoundly immersive for me.

No one achieves proficiency in their field without dedication and effort. My coding journey began in 8th grade, and over the past nine years, I have continuously refined my skills. Some days, despite my experience, I face challenges, but achieving successful outputs brings immense satisfaction. Starting with C programming, which enhanced my logical thinking and offered precise control, I quickly developed a passion for programming. Mastering C, I delved into Data Structures (DS) and earned a 5-star rating on HackerRank, where I also obtained certification. Transitioning to web development, I found JavaScript manageable despite its differences from C and DS. Embracing React.js for rapid web development, my proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP flourished. Simultaneously, I learned C++ and committed to daily competitive programming, driven by my passion for challenges. Continuous learning remains my mantra in coding—a demanding yet rewarding pursuit open to all. I strive to learn something new every day and believe that anyone can learn to code.
